this morning i woke up early and made muffins.
raspberry oatmeal muffins with cinnamon sugar on top.
its a really simple recipe that i adjusted a little bit
by adding oats and changing regular milk to buttermilk (but either are good).
so here it is. make muffins for your family or friends this weekend!
raspberry and oat muffins
preheat oven to 350
1/2 cup butter (i use salted but its preference)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
1 cup oats
2 cups frozen raspberries
bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and lovely.
melt 3 tbsp butter then dip each muffin top in the butter and top with
NOTE: i did use raspberries but this recipe is great for anything.
blueberries, bananas, chocolate chips (only then i would keep the cinnamon sugar off).
